It is the shorter distance between the gasket and the locking notches. $10 plus shipping 3) SOLD-Fuel cap - This is the non-vented cap from a 1970 GS/Skylark fuel tank. Longer distance from gasket to locking notches. Should fit 68-72 if you want a non vented cap and have a vented tank. $10 plus shipping 4) SOLD-Fuel Tank Sending Unit - Factory 3/8" fuel & 1/4" return line - Came out of my '70 GS455 tank when I upgraded my fuel system.
