Howdy! What a great site, with all the fellow Buick nuts. I'm currently driving a '48 Roadmaster 2dr with a 401 nailhead. I've had it on the road for 9 yrs. It's totally stock appearance but drives like a late model-has power steering, brakes,A.C., etc. My current project is a '40 Super convertible which will be a modified original with straight 8. Does anyone out there know where I can get info on modifying a straight 8? Bill Scott
You could try this guy in Wichita. He has modified one and plays with cars all day...@ work. Aaron @316-210-4677 Maybe Joe Taubitz aka "the old guy" Good luck, let us know how the Straight 8 build goes! Ted

So, what part of this country does Bill Scott call home? Inquiring minds want to know... Glad to have you on board. WELCOME! As a family growing up in the '50 and early '60's we too had a 2dr roadmaster Buick, but ours was the stock version and dark deep red in color. Loved that car and learned to drive in it. The one you have sounds SWEET. :TU: Love to see a photo of it posted here. Jim
