I hope that you get it! That is one sweet car, especially for the money they want. If I did not have a lot of things going on right now,I would buy that one. :TU:

A couple of us looked at it today. Has a few things that need to be done, but worth the $. He has a few folks sniffing around but the owner is a 'car guy' and would like it to stay around the area rather than across the pond or flipped by a speculator.

Tim and I looked at this cat today. I think on a 40 year old car, condition is way more important than what the speedo (or miles) say. This one has surface rust on the undersides that is not deep and can be stopped. It has a base/clear paint that is good with some prep that wasn't quite as good. There is a little pass rear quarter bubbling as the ad mentions. The rear banjo and driveshaft are newer and the driver's exhaust manifold is a mid '70s variety. The owner says the pass side manifold to head is leaking now and the A/C blows cold. The chrome/bumpers are very good-and the road wheels with some small pitting rust=driver quality. Radials are older, but show good tread. The interior is mostly very good fabric/vinyl. The AM radio doesn't work, but the crank windows crank! There are some small engine oil/antifreeze leaks that should be investigated more before a long drive. We didn't start/drive the car today. The owner is a stand up type guy who said it runs well. Somebody should visit him, check the car and hand him the cash-they'll be getting a good buy!
