GS in 3rd place? As published by Musclecar Review Magazine, of Classic/Modern/Foreign fastest cars produced: http://www.musclecarclub.com/musclecars/general/musclecars-50fast.shtml Remove all of the 4 speed transmissions, and compare all of the AUTOMATICS, only, and see just how quickly the GS moves to the TOP of those lists!
Thank You Tom. (Your order was processed this morning already) The 1st wave of these were shipped out this morning via the U.S. Postal Service. They were NOT shipped priority mail as that would have cost you guys more money so please allow some time for std. delivery service. Thanks again .
The car that was tested did not have air conditioning. The standard axle ratio for a 70 Stage I without air was 3.64. Thanks.
Shawn In 1969 and 1970 when you ordered the Stage 1 option without AC you received the stout 3.64 posi. However, if the Stage 1 option was ordered with AC and most Stage 1 cars were, you automatically received an AC compressor friendly 3.42 posi. In 1969 and 70 you could special order any GS 350 or 455 car with 3.64 posi if car was ordered without AC as well. Starting in 1971-74 the deep 3.64 axle was no longer available, so all Stage 1 cars with or without AC received 3.42 posi.
I've had a few e-mails regarding the shipping time on the Posters so guys, please remember in an attempt to sell these as cheap as possible they're being delivered through the U.S. Postal Service / Standard Mail Service. I could have chosen Priority Mail but that would have raised the shipping costs. According to my local post office delivery time is approximately 5 to 20 days. I appologize for the delay but in the end it's the only way to sell these at the advertised pricing. I have received some "Thank You" e-mails so they are being delivered as we speak. If anyone placing a future order needs these within a couple days I can certainly mail them using Priority Mail. The price would go up a bit but the option is there. Thank you for your patience, Todd / DiecastMusclecars.com .
Yip, have patience guys I ordered on the 6th, got confirmation from Todd really quick. Received mine 8-9 days later.
I ordered mine the 3rd and got them this past monday, so dont sweat it, they'll get to ya eventually, just not lickety split!! (and they are pretty cool!!:bglasses: )
Todd, My posters arrived today & look great. One for me & one for my Chevy buddy. He has a '66 Vette ragtop, original SBC, still goes like a scalded cat. Beautiful car.
Guys, these are nice, they're on a heavy poster board. Something cool to have in the garage and buy a bunch to give out to your Pontiac/Olds buddies at the next BOP show
