  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

hey there, about the a/c compressor... i used a rear exit pump (so the lines would clear the alt.) mounted to the original generator bracket with a spacer to make up the lenth difference, then a triangle bracket to catch the top bolt of the water crossover/thermostat-housing and the bottom of the alternator (there is about 2.75" rise and the alt. mounts about .5 closer to the motor than the compressor.... this is so that you can still adjust tension on the belt.... any closer/further the four pulleys get square and the swing of the alt. doesn't pull on the belt) the top bracket is a sbc universal kind of piece that was cut down to catch the same bolt as the triangle plate.... the hard part was getting all to line up nice... it a couple .25 plate brackets and a bunch of spacers and a 60" belt....we had it running and it seems like it all works fine belt stayed tight and quiet and didn't wiggle at higher rpms... i hope this helps explain whats in those pictures... and if you have any questions i'm happy to help.
