I have a lead on a 56 parts car, if it is not a Roadmaster, are there any parts I could still use on mine?

I believe that the Super and Roadmaster share body panels. Special and Century are small bodies.

It's a Special, I may get it to just part it out, can a guy make any money that way to fuel his Buick habit?

Possibly, but it all depends on what is still good. Guys are always looking for solid chrome and stainless. Ebay is your friend for that kind of stuff.

56 was the first year for the large Buick 4 door hard top
None of the body parts are interchangeable small car to large car
nor the bumpers, small car to large car,
nor the glass, small car to large car.
56 Roadmaster has exclusive sweep spear.
Large car 56 Portholes, probably interchange with small car 56
Roadmaster trunk trim is exclusive to Roadmaster(maybe 55 & 56 Roadmaster have the same trunk handles?).
1956 all models had 322. But, many Specials had 2 barrel carb.
I think Same transmission(if the special is Dynaflow).
Voltage regulator and other eletrical compononents are interchangeble. A/C cars have a different generator, however than non A/C cars
Power steering pump, maybe. But, not the column or supension.
56 was the first year to have tube shocks on rear.
I reckon all 56 radios will interchange with other 56 radios (55 has a different radio)
I'm not very familiar with 56 dash boards, as to whether the heater/ventilation is intercangleble, or not, between the large and small.
56 Wipers, I don't know. [55 Roadmaster has wiper system exclusive to Roadmaster, (varible pitch)].
Inside door handles, maybe. Maybe the rear outside door handles? I think the front outside handles are different.
