    Good day all.

    Quick bio on me:

22 year old, Navy IS based in Fallon, Nevada. Big fan of older post-Punk/Goth rock, an amateur radio operator (Call sign: KG4EAO), and I have background in hobby robotics/electronics. I've been a long time Buick fanatic (first and long loved car was a 1998 Buick LeSabre custom that I ran the doors off through college {and while working at the local airport as a assistant manager}). I made a video for that '98 LeSabre and it can be found on Youtube @ d9gZL7rQFE4 (links limited right now)

I recent bought a 1961 Buick Invicta, in decent mechanical shape, which I want to restore to her original glory. I don't plan to go for a perfect historical restore, but I want to preserve the original charm (I.E. concealing 'modern' additions), while making her a comfortable driver for me.

So, for all my questions about being a new Invicta owner and mechanical/electrical tips, I will move over to the appropriate forum.

Great to have another young guy on board. I thought I was the only one!

The biggest tip i have for you mechanically and electrically is keep it stock, which will eliminate most nightmares, and give you ease of finding parts that work. Don't let anyone fool you, you can find parts for these cars. Keep it stock, it will be worth more to more people.

If you do want to add modern things like a radio/cd player, conceal them and don't cut anything! like you mentioned above.

    Welcome aboard and Merry Christmas!
