I have a 61 electra its in good shape needs some work mainly cosmetic interior stuff. Looking for repro interior parts and outer trim and emblems. Hopefulle a one stop shop would be great. Also i know its a tall order but new repro bumpers would be great too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Man some early sixties love would be great from these parts manufacturers.
For the bumpers you'll likely need to supply a bumper replater with originals to fix and rechrome. No suggestions on the interior, sorry.
What kind of interior parts do you need? The only repro parts done are the stuff you find on all GM for that year. Any 61 Buick only stuff are not done, too few cars I guess. That goes for exterior parts too. I have looked for parts for my 61 but the only you can hope for are good used that could be replated or NOS stuff. When it comes to fabrics, vinyl & leather for interior give the guys at SMS interior a call, they have alot of NOS interior material. Good luck on the hunt for parts.
www.smsautofabrics.com for the door panels. It will take 6 months and some Franklin brothers. They will also likely have the fabric for your seats but get those covers made up locally.
sms does have the fabric too and it looks great, but takes some heavy change out of the pocketbook. They'll send you samples if you want. I'm looking for a rear bumper for my 61 as well. Good luck! Rick
