we bought a friend of mines 65 skylark. it has a 350 w/headers. i pulled engine/trans and headers out tonite to see what the headers were. well, to my surprise, they were 1 7/8 hooker headers. just like mine and the ones everybody uses from 68 up. to make them fit the cyl #3 tube was flatten on the front cross member side. there were some other little dents. but it has always been the driver side interference issue. i don't know what t/a's headers look like to compare to the hookers. but 64-67 350 a-bodies now have an option that works. :TU: i will get john to take pics to show before and after using the hookers.
