A photo of a ‘67 top plate for a wide tank radiator with the rubber nipples at the top, as mentioned by wkillgs. I wonder why Buick made this change?
I'm not concerned with originality. I just need something that looks somewhat correct in a 64-65-66-67 car, and will accommodate a 4 row tank. If someone has one, Give me s price and shipping to 49093 Michigan. I will send out a postal Money Order asap. Thanks guys
If you aren't concerned about originality, you might find someone in your area to fab up exactly what you need.
What I meant was.....I'm making something that never existed in 1964 by adding a 455, but, the goal is to make it look like it was born there. The last thing I want is some Frankenstein hold down staring you in the face when you pop the hood. I have sheet metal fab skills, I could make that myself. But, I appreciate the input and idea. It just seems nobody wants to cough up a 67 GS hold down, so I will take any 65-66-67 hold down from a heavy duty cooling car that will accept 4 row tanks/insulators. Thanks guys, need one soon. -Tom Need to edit my original title block, and just ask for HD cooling hold down for 64-67 A body
Am guessing '66-'67 Olds Cutlass is completely different, and can't be used? These came from a '66 330 auto car that had AC.
