I am converting my column 2spd to a console mounted 3spd shifter. I have the shifter, console and th350...was wondering if this is as simple as cutting a hole in the tunnel, mounting the shifter and console and linking the shifter to the tranny. Or, is it a bit more involved? A couple questions I have in addition are: 1. Is there a piece out there that replaces the part on the column where the shifter attaches? I don't want to have to spend the money on a new column. 2. Is there a conversion kit out there ie. shift linkage for the floor shift, templates for where to cut the hole etc etc. Thanks for your help in advance.
