    Hi
I'm new to the site. wanted to know if anyone has changed out the uppper A arm to a later a body or G body and used ploy bushings?
what about DIsc brakes from a later model A frame (I have a 1965 gran sport) with the upper arm?
I hear that you might have to change to larger rims.
    any help would be welcome.

Hi Bill, welcome. I believe you can use a-body upper arms with the press in bushings without any problems - bolt em on. You'll have to check some part numbers, but I think 65-67 are the same, possibly through 72. I have never used the poly bushings, but I hear for the street they can be squeeky (need regular lubing) and ride somewhat harsh.

There are several disc brake kits that are available for the early a-body - did you use the search feature? And yes, you will need wheels that clear disc brakes, but they don't need to be larger.

    HTH.
