The ’65 Gran Sport book is ready for the printer. I’m accepting pre-orders for the first printing and with that a discount through the Nationals in May. A big thank you to those that helped with answering my questions. This will be the last one of the series. I plan to edit and update the other books in the months to come. I hope very much that it helps with your projects and search for parts. Shop (gsbythenumbers.com)
This is awesome David! I put in a preorder on the website. Looking forward to reading. Thank you for putting in the research.
Hello Chris, long time no see. I was asked to do the '65 Skylark Gran Sport so no Rivs. I been asked to do a "Boattail" Riv book but I don't think that will happen. Those cars are not around me to double check what BMD said they built. I've got a lot of info in my library so if you need to know something ask and I'll research it. David
WoW Chris......don't let Mr. Alexander of the 65GS page hear this....he'll knock on your door...LOL......
lol, and the 65 A-body guys have us Riv Gran Sport owners outnumbers about 5 to 1, so no argument that the A-body car was more popular back in 65. I think nowadays the 1965 Riviera Gran Sport definitely ranks higher on most people's "must have" list though.....
Pre-paid books have been shipped. Thank You ! Have a few left of the first printing if interested. Thanks again. David
I received my copy, many thanks. Excellent research. I was hoping you might discover what the "star" symbol refers to on the cowl tag. No one seems to know that have found. Here is a service bulletin that shows one but doesn't describe what it means.
