This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

I picked up a '65 Gran Sport recently. A '65 4-speed car has been on my list for a while and I found a nice one. It's a low mileage Colorado car, restored by the previous owner. He was a retired aircraft mechanic, nice guy and real meticulous. It was on Ebay a few weeks ago. I was a little apprehensive when I went to pick it up but this is one Ebay car that looks better in person than in the photos. It has the original 401 and most of the interior is mostly original except for the front seat covers and carpet. The transmission was replaced with a wide ratio Muncie but the original Borg Warner T-10 was included with the sale, along with the original steel wheels and a bunch of other parts. It has Hotchkiss sway bars and front disc brakes added and I can say that it handles and stops noticeably better than my '67 GS. It took two days to tow it back to Minnesota. I stopped in Lincoln on the way and picked up some Super Sport wheels with trim rings for my '70 project that I found on Craigslist so it was a productive trip all in all.

Gorgeous car! Almost identical to my very first car back in 1973, other than mine had a black interior. Miss that car.....:ball:
    Congrats on the new addition!
