I don't need the mirror, just the chrome bracket. I want a nice one, no pits. Thanks.

Simple, I hated Florida. Aside from that when my wife came down with a spinal disorder in Oct. 2013 and is now confined to a wheelchair, we had no help and no support down there. It turns out most of our "friends" were just fair weather friends who became distant when we could no longer do all the things we used to. So, we needed to get back to our roots, our families and our real friends who, in spite of us having been gone for 10 years have not changed a bit and have been great. Makes me ashamed that we ever moved away in the first place. Yeah, it gets cold up here in the winter but it's more tolerable for me than the heat and humidity down there. Never going back. So, do you have a mirror for me? :)

Bill. I have one here with a couple of pits however the bracket you need is being reproduced. I can`t remember off hand who sells it but if you do a bit of research you should find it.

Thanks John. It hadn't occurred to me that a part like that would be reproduced since there can't be a real high demand for it bit I just looked into it and found that The Parts Place has them.

Thanks Michael, I was bidding on a real nice used one on ebay but in the end someone else wanted it more than I did :(

I have purchased a repro and it has not worked yet- the slot for mirror mount is so tight because of chrome thickness it will not slide in. Filed on it but chrome is frickin tough stuff. Not recommended :spank:

Thanks for the heads up, I've been wondering about the repro pieces. My experience with all reproduction parts is it's a crap shoot. I'll keep looking for a nice original.

I've got a real nice original - looks like one small pit for $25 plus ride. PM me your email address as I do not know how to post pictures here yet.
    Thanks so much,
    Glenn
