'65 Skylarks -- window crank spring?

Hi -

Did '65 Skylarks have a spring that went behind the window crank? Mine doesn't have them (at least now), yet I see them in restoration catalogs...

Yes they did.Atleast the two I have do.If you need some I may have 4 spare ones if I can dig them up....

What is the proper direction of installation? Are the larger coils toward the the door panel or the window crank?
