This car has been parked in my garage for 11 years and it's great but I have a chance to buy a '66 Buick Electra convertible back from the guy I sold it to 16 years ago. So I need to sell this one.
The Wildcat body style is the same as the '65-'66 Chevy impalas, Pontiacs and Oldsmobiles. It has a bergundy metallic paint job that knocks your eye out in the sunshine. And, except for a slightly beat-up package shelf, a super interior. A 401 block w/425 torque and 325hp sits under the hood. It's got 170k miles on it with a new engine at approx. 20k.
    It's also got:

    - auto, AC, PS, PB
    - Original AM radio
    - Bucket seats
    - Console
    - cruise control

I just put $1900 into a new carburetor, new distributor, electronic ignition, new air cleaner, new muffler, new radiator, intake manifold, heater core, plugs and other assorted goodies. It could probably use a set of duals for another 25-30 hp but that's $350 I don't want to spend just now.

The $6500 I'm asking is less than I have invested. If it were a '66 Chevelle it would be a different story and I'd be asking twice as much. If I don't sell it on Craigslist then I'm going to ebay and up the price to $9500. These Buicks are becoming rare.

It's nice to have strangers come up to you at stoplights, service stations and parking lots and tell you it's a great looking car. But it's time to let somebody else have the pleasure.

You forgot the best part of the ad:

"By the way, that critter passing the car is the ancient ancestor of the whale."

That is a nice looking car...
