There is a 65 Wildcat for sale just south of Hayward, WI parked along Highway 27. The car was dark brown, and the paint was quite old and pretty faded. The body looked pretty solid, however, during my quick walk around inspection. The back bumper was rusted pretty bad, it looked like it had been bumped from behind or something and cracked the chrome plating around the bumper mounts, as that was where the rust appeared to be. I didn't look under the hood, but the sign in the window indicated that the car had a rebuilt 401 with less than 1000 miles on the rebuild, and that there was around $1000 worth of TA Performance parts in the rebuild, as well. The chassis apparently has about 83,000 miles on it. Automatic trans, lots of stainless trim in the back seat. The car apparently came from Vermont some years ago. All of the above information came off of the sign in the window of the car, as I didn't actually talk to anyone (other than myself). It appeared to be a fair base for a project, and I thought I'd pass along what information I have. The phone number on the sign was 715 558 1072. I was travelling through Hayward when I saw it, and I live a fair ways away from there, so your best bet for more info on this is to call the number. Nick
Sorry, it is a two-door, I should have mentioned that. There was no asking price listed on the window sign. Nick
