    Hello All,

I am a "newbie" here and would like some advice. I just picked up a 66 Riv that is an EXCELLENT base for a resto project. I am looking for a book that can identify the various ins and outs to doing this resto (i.e. the nuts and bolts to remove body panels, mechanical info, stats, etc). Does anyone have a good idea what book(s) or manuals would be good for this?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,
You could try on Ebay for: 1966 Buick manual . The 1966 Buick chassis manual covers mechanical repairs for all 1966 Buick models and the 1966 body manual covers all 1966 GM cars. In my opinion, they are the most useful manuals you could get. I have both of them for my 67 and I frequently use them.

    Hello Phil,

Thank you very much for the link. I have added a couple of the listings to my "watch page" and will make bids on them soon. I will keep you informed.

    Thanks,
    Kevin
