This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things.   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete.     I understand some not liking the "poverty cap" look on a luxo car like the Riviera but I guess that maybe some have missed the satin or matte finish of the black paint on the car.I believe that it is a good look and would consider that car a very mild custom as it sits on those two pictures,not a resto job.Just my opinion,here's what I did a while back:

    I like the shot with no wheel covers at all.
    Maybe because prior to painting my first 67 in plum, I drove it around in black primer and black plain wheels. Then for a short period I painted the wheels silver. :eek2: Needless to say everyone knew it was me. At that time I was 17 and was going for the redneck moonshine-runner look. :puzzled:
