happened to see this local at a used car dealer and thought it may be of interest to someone close by . i could not see it close up , it was in a showroom and it was sunday , they were locked up . if i go by again i could stop and get a closer look or maybe even take a couple pics if possible . looked clean , med blue , chromes and moons and some funky pin stripes and chrome exh tips etc . could not see interior or engine compartment . the right rear qtr panel emblem had been moved and the sheet metal looked a little suspect so i would have to guess at some work in that area at least . this is not a "no look" buy , if you are within 100 - 200 miles and feel like a drive it may be worth a look . price on the windshield was $6795 i think . that might be a little high ? dealer info is : phone - 607-433-1978 and on the web at - www.hometownauto.us . thats all i know . del
did finally get a chance to see it and crawl under it a little . at least its not a "20 footer" ---- its a "50 footer" !!! floorboards good but frame has a little flakey rust on it . paint is toast - kinda fresh lookin but a ton of runs and fisheye's etc . base small v8 2bbl motor , automatic , bench seat interior . some "putty" work on the back half i think . nada top book on it is about $7k - they had $6795 on windshield i think - to me its a $3k or maybe $4k car tops . even if ya did everything except body work yourself you'd have to drop another $3000 into it to make it sweet - body off , blast and paint frame , strip paint and reshoot , upholstry work etc etc . wouldn't want to have $10k in it . but - if you could say grab it for $4k or a little less and sink maybe $2k into it - yeah maybe worthwhile project . del
