Anyone put in a overdrive trans in a 66 skylark? With the small block. What trans do I look for ? Does else does it need ? Any help would be great thanks Les
Search the threads, there is a ton of transmission swap material here. The 350 is almost a drop in for the old switch pitch unit, and the 200R-4 has been discussed here in infinate detail. Lots of pros and cons for either swap, and many have done them both. Anything has got to beat the switch pitch in mho.
