    WickedWay Got Torque?

J&M Salvage in Lubbock, TX has a 67 Buick Wildcat. 4-door, complete car with 430 and 400 transmission, not sure what rear end. Car runs and drives, but previous owner hit a deer with it and didnt feel like fixing it. Radiator is busted and the core support is pushed in so the hood wont latch. Has been in the yard for a few years now, but nobody has touched it. They drove it onto and off the trailer.

They're asking $2,500 for the complete car (has clear title), and are willing to part it out. Sorry, I dont have any pictures but I do have their number if anybody is interested? (Yard is 70 miles away, might be able to grab some pics next time I'm in Lubbock but no guarantees)

Sounds like a pretty good deal depending on what kind of shape the rest of the car is in. Let us know if you get some pics

By the way, did you ever figure out why your car was titled as a 68? How's it coming along?

Last I saw the car I didnt notice any damage at all, was wondering if maybe they've gotten confused on the cars? I'll deffinetly try and grab some pics next time I'm in Lubbock, pending on if my girlfriend lets me anywhere near a wrecking yard. :spank:

As far as my car goes, I've goten a new motor in it and have driven in a few miles. Found a powerglide to put in it, but the trans is slipping. Going to rebuild it after new years and add a mild stall converter. Still working out some timing issues, I think a mouse or something took a chunk out of my wiring harness while the car was waiting for the motor?

Turns out the car was manufactured in November 68, so the driver side seatbelt says 68 on it. Vin says it's a 69. Had a 70 SO code 350 in it, and a TH350 trans when I got it. Pulled some parts off a wrecked 68 GS I bought and have swapped them over, including the bucket seats and column/shifter.

Sweet, sounds like you got a killer ride in progress! I always liked the 68/69 Skylarks better than the chevelles.
