1967 GS 400 with a 68 Rivi 430, 1382985 tall port heads, AND it appears they put most of the original 400 apparatus on this 430 to keep it stock appearing!! (dist, alt, valve covers etc) Iron exhaust manifolds..Holley 750, original T400 tranny, 10 bolt 2:93 original posi, factory aluminum front drums, NEW radiator, new fuel pump, OLD kinda scary rear air bags, half original Star wars air cleaner...(top half ). . . new radiator, buckets, console (had none, but now sports one of my own 2 speed shift plates), excellent dash pad, yes, I said EXCELLENT!! Very nice door panels, rear interior panels, rear seat, passenger seat are all quite nice, however the driver seat has worn/torn issues and the headliner is falling. VERY little rust around back window typical area, BUT someone got bondo-creative with the lower quarter panels and rockers. The trunk floor has 'patches' here'n there, and some welding has been performed on the trunk mounting/chassis areas. Solid floor panels with the exception of a small patch under the rear seat...looks like POR 15 was heavily applied to the floors. Trunk lid has typical rust on the lip. Doors close solid, no rattles. Hood is excellent and shows no signs of rust thru. I've spent the last 4 weekends getting this car running and put back together. It had been sitting since 1992. ou: THIS CAR SCREEEEMS!! It runs nice, shifts solid, but takes both feet and 210 lbs to get this car stopped. Id say it needs some front brake work and tinkering to make it a safe driver. stuff I forgot to mention: Florida clear title, the original 14 inch rallye wheels themselves are quite nice, however, those General XP2000 tires from 1988 are severely dry rotted! I just mounted my 'roller set' of wheels/tires with poverty hubcaps to drive it around...but I havent got pix of them yet. I will. I removed, cleaned the NICE, non scored oil pump, repacked it with vaseline, and I have run and flushed this engine 3 times with a mix of 2 qrts of type "F" tranny fluid and 3 qts oil. Ran it till it got hot, changed the fluids./filter three times. I am about to change the oil and fill it with 5 qts Castrol. This car interior had been somewhat dismantled, the console was out and the shifter plate was mia, so it now sports one of my 65 GS 2 speed shifter plate... the original 3 speed shifter was still mounted/intact and works well, the seats were loose and are now mounted. Steering wheel has cracks but complete. Probably more when I think of them!

can you say....SLEEPER!?! These wheel/tires are NOT part of this car deal..they are for my 65! I basically put them on this 67 because the others are dry rotted and not safe to drive about town. And while I was at it, I snapped a few more pix for you guys! Some have asked about the exhaust system, well, it is complete and the mufflers look ok with no apparent leaks. The fender vents and wheel well trims are very very nice too! fyi: Milt from Atlanta (post #8), has expressed a genuine interest, however, I now have several interested parties from my local advertising... Kris is a great lady and she would go for another road trip but i would have to stay longer this time.I could jam a nice body and paint job on that 67.But i have to control myself I just bought that post car last spring off the board I have to keep saying to myself, Just say no.Im going to rehab.
