The 67 GS hood scoops are one of the hottest mods for any 64-69 Skylark. I've seen them installed on many non 67's and 67 GS owners are always looking for a better set for their car. They even end up on other GM cars. Seems like everyone wants a set. I think a batch of 200 or more would sell easly. The scoop itself would not be hard to repro in fiberglass but the chromed tins are the challenge. Any one out there interested in helping make these?

Rod glad you got the set, what do you think of the quality? I thought they were good but have not installed mine yet. Did see a set installed at the GS nationals and were good. Thanks Bill.

They are a perfect fit. The contrast in colors not great and luster/shine a little less then what I would like although with some polish I think they will shine up. All the originals are so faded that this is a tremendous improvement. I certainly would recommend as replacement for any originals and have not seen or heard of any alternative. I believe these are most likely identical to those offered on ebay and for substantially less. I appreciate the lead and have emailed her and asked if I could post her contact information. I would think that many on this site would be interested. Thanks again for your help.

I'm out of town right now. Will post when I get home or Bill(GS Spoken Here) can post if he sees this as I got formation from him. As a matter of fact I've purchased a couple of items from Bill as well as receiving information from him and really appreciate his help. They emailed and said it was alright to post here.

Karen, and I believe last name is Miller. Her email address is lmiller493@aol.com. Just drop her a line and she said she will reply. The inserts come complete with vinyl striped cover attached to stainless insert. Remove old inserts and glue new ones on. Good Luck

Thanks Rod! You said they were $35, is that correct? What did you use for adhesive?

yes that was cost, included shipping. Haven't yet put on but a 3M adhesive is suggested by Karen

PM 67 Grand Sport......he was just selling those things a week or 2 ago I think. Not sure if they were just decals or the whole tin. Someone else here sells them also. Put an ad in the parts wanted section.

Gary makes some nice pieces for the 67 scoops. Although I dont have a 67 I have a nice set of factory scoops with his inserts and they are pretty nice and reasonably priced.

OK, so I'm a bit lost. I'm looking for the actual scoops as well, not the inserts that sit out front of them (have those). My 67 Skylark came with them and holes in the hood but no actual scoops.

Who was the contact for the actual scoops?

    Thanks any & everyone!

Nobody makes the actual scoops or chrome fronts. Only the striped insert/decal thingy is repopped.
