My gas tank started leaking. Just got it pulled tonight. At first look it may be leaking at the seam, which may preclude repair. Does anyone know of a repro, or one that will fit?

Do they have the sending units as well. Tried poking around their website, but it doesn't seem real friendly.

I just put a Tanks Inc unit in mine. It’s for electric fuel pump but fits perfectly and holds 24 gallons. My stock tank is available I suppose but you’d be better served to go with a new unit with baffling.

The tanks that everyone lists for a '67 Buick A-body aren't exactly correct (GM-37D and GM37-A are wrong). Our '67s have 2 vents but the tanks listed say either zero or 1 vent. The tanks listed also do not included a filler neck. Look at the tank on your '67 and it should have two vent hoses at the driver side rear corner of the tank that are retained to the body of your car behind the rear bumper.

The good news is that a longtime friend of mine, Gary Bohannon (also a member of this board), needed a new tank for his '67 GS400 and he figured out that Spectra part #GM37G (which is listed for a '66-'67 Oldsmobile Cutlass) is the correct tank for our '67 Buicks. He bought the GM37G and not only did it have the correct 2 vents, it also had a new filler neck already installed. Lots of places sell these tanks (Amazon has them for $161 plus free delivery) so just shop around for the best price.

I hope this helps avoid getting the wrong tank and also avoids the hassle of swapping filler necks.

The 37G is definitely the correct tank for your 67 GS.

Got a 37G stainless tank several years ago. Everything works and fits as it should. Pleased.

I sure did. I've had my eye on those for a while now. Ours is Blue on Blue on Blue like that model. I'll have some updated pictures in the Blue Bastard album in the next week or so. We're just about ready to fire the engine and break it in...then we'll put the seats back in, give it a scrub (get the 30 years of dust off of it - been sitting in a garage since 88)...and then take it for a spin.
