Not sure where to post, so....

I am in the process of putting a water temp gauge in my pwr rag top but otherwise no frills 1967 LeSabre 400 vert. I was hoping to find existing holes in the firewall to route the sender cable thru but so far no luck. Seems I only have the speedo cable and main harness connector (underneath the brake booster) going through the bulkhead. Was also looking from the inside, but same story.

Trying to avoid drilling new holes if possible at all.

Any ideas where to sneak the cable trough?

A/C? Guessing no frills would mean no.

Anyway, I was thinking through the heater box grommet. That's how I did it.

Correct, no AC. So only two stuts for the heater hoses in the bulkhead. I don’t believe I have the grommet you mention.

    No cruise either.

If there are no existing holes, drill a hole in the firewall, and install your own grommet. Make sure you pick a good spot.
