Hi, I'm new to this group. I have been collecting Buicks since I learned to drive. First car was a '63 Wildcat, and pretty much went from there. My wife and I have restored two Buicks recently. She loves her '67 Wildcat and I have my '72 Skylark convertible. All our cars are listed in my signature. I look forward to talking to everyone here.

P.S. We have a '67 Wildcat parts car, so if anyone is looking for body parts or trim, let me know.

Glad to have you and your Wildcat here!

In my official capacity as Cardinal of the Cats, I'll place the sacred sign on your forehead with 10W40, our Sergeant at Arms will crown you with the Ceremonial Chrome Lug Wrench, hopefully not as hard as he last one, and the Grandpoobah will sling a shirt in your direction. Then you must kneel facing Flint and join us in reciting the "Buick Prayer."

Our father which art in Flint
    BUICK is thine name
    Thy designs be done
Thy horsepower and torque be one
On the track as it is on the highway

Give us this day our Cats, Electra's, GS's and Rivs,
Forgive us of our speeding tickets and those who drive a Ford

Lead us not into bad gas
And deliver perfect parts on time

    Thy Buick come
    The races won
On the track as well as
    The highways...

I've got to give credit to Sergeant Major for writing the first draft.

Thanks to all for the friendly replies!

LAST1987GN - the '63 unfortunately stopped running and I was a destitute student. I had to sell it off and I'm not sure what became of it. I could kick myself now, but the '67 cat was my way of keeping the karma going.

  11. Hi,

Ran into you story on this board and I was wondering if you still have the '67 parts car.
I'm looking for a transmission control switch and a watertank for the windshield wipers.
    Thanks, Frank
