I am starting a new thread because I am expanding the search a little. I am looking for a numbers matching GS350 4 spd car. I previously was just looking for a 70-72 so if you have a 68 or 69 let me know. I would also like buckets and AC. Nice drivers and up are prefered. I would love a 71 or 71 convertible, but considering how rare they are, I won't hold my breath. Distance and or shipping are not a concern for the right car. PM me if you want to keep it confidential otherwise post for all to see. Thanks for helping. Matt
Bump. Had a couple of non matching number offers, but still looking for the real thing. Wife likes the 68 and 69's so that would be a good choice.:Brow: There were a little over 3000 GS350 4spd cars made. There has to be something out there. Anyone Bueller Anyone
God bless herray: :TU: Keep looking, they pop from time to time. I got my 69 GS 400 4 speed here:3gears: I'll keep an eye out for you. Rich
Hey Rich, I think time is running short. There is a board member that has a 67 GS for sale. I am hoping to get a look at it in the next couple of weeks. It is a very nice looking car. I like the like that body style to so if they works I will have to put the 4 spd search on hold for a while. But because I have not seen the car yet I am still hopingray: a 4spd come up. One question Rich, did the 68 and 69 cars have a factory tach as an option. I have never seen one in any pictures. Just curious.
Matt I have a 68 GS 400 4 spd vert (not for sale) with what looks like a factory tach in the consolette. When I get it out of hibernation I could send you a pic if you want? Tom
68-69 had one in the colsolette as stated. Nice looking but IMHO not very useful as you have to look down to see the tach and take your eyes too far from the road. But they look really cool. John
Isn't cool the reason to find a 4spd car.:bglasses: Pratical would be an auto.:boring: If your going to spend a bunch of money on a toy it might as well be cool.
Hi, a friend of mine Is selling his original 72 gs 350 4 speed hardtop, bad part we are overhere in northern california. The car is very nice. If you are interested pm me or give me your phone number and a time I can call you. I can provide pics. I am new to the forum, so I dont think I can post pics on the forum yet. Keith
You can call me at 408-551-9871 if I dont answer leave a message I will call you back Thanks again, Keith
We will try. Part of me still thinks I should by your GS350 because of how nice it is. Paint it black. Put in a 4spd auto and have Jim Wiese build a 400hp street motor. If I fail in this attempt I might be crawling to your front door.ray:
I want you to have the car you want. right now I am considering taking some of the power accessories off and selling them to make the car a more attractive price. Who knows the 72 Stage 1 Suncoupe might end up with all the options like the wifes has.
Well I have thought about your a lot. I wouldn't be settling for anything if we worked it out. There are a number of things that I really like about your car. All of the options and the condition. I like the fact that I could paint it what ever color I wanted. I am a traditionalist and a Numbers matching car would be hard for me to change, but with yours I think I would be able to personalize it without the guilt.
Same here, If I end up keeping it it will be getting 1970 grille , bumpers and full GSX treatment. I have every thing to do that now just not really sure about the yellow even if I do have the paint. With black interior the color is a hard thing to pin down. We went thru this with the wifes Suncoupe and she ended up with a burgandy thats not far from Burgandy mist. The color was from a 91 Vette we saw at BG that year and she fell in love with it . Still looks very good today.
