The 68 GS400 is still for sale, listed this week for 5900.00. I called the guy, and he described it as numbers matching, no significant rust, and nice interior. It needs paint:currently back, it was originally light yellow, with vinyl top, which was removed at some pont. Options all work and A/C blows cold. Runs and drives well. The windshield has a crack, and the wipers don't work, but he didn't seem to have tried to figure out why. The car is in Little Rock....I offered to look at it on Monday, but he'll be out of town until Thursday. If anyone's interested, let me know, and I'll give you the lowdown on it. Dan

Thanks for the link. Methinks 4500 is a lot better starting point than 5900, haha. Seriously, I love this Board.... :beer Dan

    Dan,
I spoke to him as well at the end of the auction. He kept on telling me how he was 'flexible' on the price, the 'very flexible'. I made him an offer in which he said he would only knock $100 off the $4500 eBay listing.......

Be warned that this car was listed 5 times on eBay. Two (2) people won 2 of the auctions. One left a $1000 deposit after looking at the car and the other said no way. The only way he will hold onto the car for you will be a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500-$1000 :Smarty: :Smarty: :Smarty:
