John Mc.....found a phone number and I called. Turns out, car is a 68 GS350 numbers matching car--been sitting for 10 years out here in the desert. So. Cal. Car has center console, shifter, buckets, no headliner, no inside door panels in the rear. All the glass, no grill, all the fenders bumpers etc. NO RUST. Car has bent left front fender, repairable, also has crease in hood, again repairable. Missing some of the stainless trim here and there. Has big and littles on it now but has the original four ralley wheels.
I'm gonna run out there and take some snaps and post them. I know it's hard to say without seeing pics, but what's the bottom line on this car? Thanks in advance.

  2. Well, it sure needs a lot of attention. Mechanical work should be assumed too. $500-$1000 tops to me, leaning to the low end. Not real high demand or resale value on 68/69 cars, and 350's in particular.

    350 GS what's it worth

Thanks Dave for the reply. Ya, I'm with ya. Of course, ya gotta figure the console and shifter gotta be worht 2 hundred. Fourteen inch ralleys, perhaps 100, OH, 8.2 posi rear end, 2 hundred perhaps. I will say this, I can get the car for less than, hummmm, the cost of the rear end.

Sounds like a steal to me! I had a chance at a parts car 68 GS350 last year, for just a couple hundred, but I just have no place to put a parts car... It was short on salvageable parts, but probably worth the $200 asking price.

So, what is the gearing on that rear? :Brow:

Ya Dave, me thinks it's a steal. Only problem is, WHERE TO PUT IT. I'm going out this afternoon and get some pics. I've not been out there yet although the lady selling it is fairly knowledgeable about the car. It's been under a car port at a trailer park, (wouldn't ya know it?) for the ten year period.

    GS350

Well I ran out there, lady was not home but I was able to walk around the car. It's missing a great deal of stuff. Almost all the outside stainless trim from everywhere, headlight bezels, interior is fairly nasty, hood needs major repair, missing grill. Car is white. There is no rust but it needs a bunch. If anyone is interested, email me privately and I'll fire off the phone number to you. Car is out here in Calif, about 1/4 mile from L.A. country raceway.
