Hi there I am new to the board and am looking at buying a 68 Riveria. The paint and body is in excellent shape. The only sign of bodywork was in the back quarters above the tailight and the lower front of the passenger door. It needs new brake lines, bumpers fixed, and minor mechanical work. It has the 430 wildcat in it. Also the headlight do not close. The interior has been recently redone including headliner, carpet, and seats. My question I guess is what is this car worth, and what else should I look at. Here is a picture of the outside and interior. I look forward to your replies and opions.

How much are they asking? The term "worth" is very subjective. I always like to know if there is already a price tag on the car. Then we can talk:grin: :TU:

They are asking 3500 for the car. Due to some mechanical problems and the condition of the bumpers I offered them 2000

Did they bite? I wouldn't go over $2500....just by description and/pics.

To fix your headlights do a search on "riviera headlight" in the "A boatload of fun" forum, I wrote an article with some pictures that will assist you in that :) Now go buy the boat and get wrenchin'!!
