Hey Ive got a 69 Riv and it only blows air 2 of the 5 vents. The 3 that don't blow all connect to the same unit which runs into the HVAC. I dont understand why theres no air flow to them since they all work off one blower. I tried on all settings AC, heater, de frost and nothing. Any ideas?

Very likely the flex hose connecting the blower to the non-functioning vents has either slipped off or has deteriorated. An underdash inspection with a flashlight would be a good start.

those duct hoses crumble easily as devon saiid could have a main line crumbled also if someone was behind the dash ,a plastic section could be missing. start with the flashlight ,its a simple system marty

if theres no vacuume going the the diaphram on the diverter box under the dash it will only blow on the floor. the line connects roughly behind the ing switch on the box on the fire wall. FYI... theres not alot of room to work in there or see. you may have to pull the cloth duct off or down a bit to see what your looking for.

I think your on to something. On the selector switch there's a connection with 6 vacuum lines... 2 are going into the firewall, the others are loose. Any idea where they go?

Get a Chassis manual. in section 12 theres all the correct diagrams. Im not home now but from memory. theres 2 that run to the fresh air vent under the R kick panel. one runs to the vac diaphram, one goes to the water valve on the engine the other goes to the round vac canister under the L fender behind the hood hinge. theres also one that runs from one side of the selector to the other.
