A local salvage yard just got in an unbelieveably hard-hit 68 Skylark sedan. It hit a pole then rolled over several times. The dash is sticking though where the windshield was, so the dashboard has nothing of value. The car had factory a/c, ps, pb. An a/c vent or two may be useable. The only good body panel is the decklid - it is rust-free with excellent moldings. Left taillight is good. The car had black interior, so if anyone has a 4 door and wants an almost perfect rear seat and near NOS rear door panels, this car has them. All 4 black armrests are in excellent shape as well as the chromed plastic bezel (I am not a 68 guy, so I don't know if they are interchangeable from a 2 to a 4 door), all the door handles and window cranks are perfect pit-free with black knobs - except the driver's door window crank, it is fubar'ed. The motor is a 350 4bl, but it has been pushed through the firewall. The carb is good, though. Nearly perfect plastic dome lamp assembly, lens and all. The black seatbelts have been sold. Not a lot of stuff, but it was a nice nice original car before the accident, so a lot of interior and trim items are in excellent shape. If you need anything, let me know.

What shape is the panel between the trunk and rear window in? Also, will this fit a 68 2dr. hardtop lark? Also, could you give me the length of the front armrests, specifically the drivers side.

    Thanks,

    Jon

I'll go measure the arm rests here in a bit. Surprisingly enough, the rear cowl is in excellent shape as well as the decklid, though I am not sure if a 4 door is the same as a 2 door. I believe these two body panels are the only ones on the car not killed. I have several photos of the car along with some of the rear cowl area, but I'm not sure how to post them.

    Thank you!

    Matt

Oh. Thanks. Well, how about the decklid/tulip panel, as I posted in the FAQ section?

GS Spoken Here, the rear bumper was damaged on the right side in the rollover. It is too bad, too, because it was a nice nice bumper. The tag bracket/fuel door is still very nice, it even has the original part number sticker on it and looks almost new if you need one of those.

    Thank you,

    Matt
