i can't speak for '68s but i had a '67 4-dr post sedan and they only made 9123 of them that year, and they made a lot more 4-dr hardtop sedans and even 2-dr converts. i can check a book that has production numbers later today. also i feel people didn't think to save as many 4-drs as they did 2-drs.
Can't find some....what? 68 Buick parts in general are not easy to find, depending what you're looking for.

Based on a 2005 edition of the Standard Catalog of American Cars put out by Krause publications a 1968 4-dr Sedan Skylark in #1 condition would be worth about $6900, or a Skylark Custom would be $9000. But with that book being quite out of date I'm not sure how accurate those are, add in general lack of intrest in 4-drs, and the current economy I'll bet those prices have dropped a bit. o No:
Thanks for the info, here a picture of my car almost ready to hit the road,i have invest over $10.000 in this car ,
Looks great! I really enjoy my 4-dr it's something different you don't see as often anymore, and it works better as a "sleeper" :Brow: :3gears:
You have a nice looking car. I hope you built it for yourself to enjoy, and not for an investment. It is extremely difficult to restore a car, and sell for profit. I have a 68 4 door hardtop out back.
I have a 68 4dr skylark that has a 6cyl powerglide A/C I bought. That is 2nd in line to be restored after I get my 2dr Arizona 68 skylark done Lynn
The car looks great! It might be worth a lot when it is done however getting that $ is another story. Unfortunately cars are selling for 50-70% of what they are worth in many cases.
Good news for the 1968 Skylark Custom 4 drs HT sedan owners: NEO Scale Models from the Netherlands now has a 1:43 scale model in their collection :TU: Click here for all the NEO Buicks :Comp:
