i need to replace the rear window on my 68 skylark. the top is in great condition, but the window is trash. is it as simple as putting or sewing in a new one, or do i have to buy a new complete set up?

    Hello,

You don't have to replace the entire top, the rear window is heat sealed to the material around it and it is a separate piece from the top. The rear window is stapled to the rear tacking rail as well as the bow right above the rear window. You can unbolt the rear tacking rail, pull out the staples for the rear window and pull the top up and over the rear window. Remove the staples that hold the rear window in place and put your new window in. It is not easy but not that hard, just some patience and maybe a friend to help.
