This blue car as a beater and it is complete but the previous owner sold the fender skirts off of it. I would like to find replacement skirts or if I can just buy rear wheel moldings I would put them on to make it look more complete. I am not sure if there is differences in moldings of skirt and non skirt cars. Any help tracking down skirts or proper moldings would be greatly appreciated. White skylark shows the completed moldings look I am after or again if I can find skirts. They look the same but I figured I’d ask here.
That's a nice car. MY car is a beater. But I still have the skirts for mine. Not for sale yet. However I would like to see more pics so I can remember what mine used to look like before I ran it thru the winters.
Thanks, thats the look I’m after, that’s a beautiful car, I love the look of skirts. I know they hinder wheel clearance and promote rust but I do love the look. Hopefully somebody comes up with a set. Thanks BuickBob I’ll let you know and specialwagon thank you to for looking and look forward to you getting back to me.
I think they are okay, but I prefer the look of 1970 rear fenderwells, plus I hate tire rubbing. So I radiused the fenderwells on my '69 (they were rusted anyway) and now it looks like I own some kind of prototype or hybrid--a 1969 1/2 GS.
Do you still have the 68 Skylark rear moldings. I don’t have the originals from mine. If you still have them for sale please let me know. Give me a call anytime. Thanks much. 763-607-1987
