Is anyone out there making a repro dash pad for the 68 -72 GS? I'm surprised that hasn't made it to production given the usual wear and sun damage along with wide range of fit. Thanks

I don't think there are repros for any model year, but they can be refurbished by a place like Just Dashes.

Thanks. I have a pretty decent one with light surface cracks that I'll probably send to Just Dashes. Hoping the rather good shape helps the price a bit. Turn around is pretty brutal, but their work appears top notch. Thanks

Still interested in locating a nice 72 GS non A/C dash pad in black. This pad has only the far right side vent cut out and no center vent ( that's an A/C equipped dash pad. Anyone have one out there ? I have an ok one that will need refinishing, but would prefer an original piece. Thanks!!

are skylark and gs dash pads different or is a/c and non a/c the only difference?

AC and non AC is the only difference..the a/c ones have the vent in the middle.

There are also some (very uncommon) that have no vents at all on them, only ever seen them on 4 doors and I think it was if car was ordered without upper vent system. Only ever seen 2.

I actually have a blue one that is extrememly nice with no vents at all. I also just secured a gold non A/C unit that should be great and can be dyed to black. I'll let you know and we can see what your black one looks like. I really appreciate the help.
