HMm......maybe I should offer my services to the buyer :Brow: I'll tell you this - after my 11-year journey with my GS, and what I've gone through, I dont think I'd "Do" it again.....As much fun as the Grande Scavenger Hunt for Buick Parts is - next time i'd right a check for a car that was already done correctly. I'd agree with Jim - you probably won by not winning
Re: Ok, I give...... Its obvious, the dual column and console shifters, the pre-rust protection to protect the underlying metal, the brush textured paint to pull the air away from the surface of the car for higher top speed potential. Don't you guys know anything? ________ MARIJUANA
Re: Re: Ok, I give...... Actually.....those are called Turbulators or trip fences and they act to re-attach the flow along the surface creating a laminar air flow :Smarty:
Re: Ok, I give...... Hey Dan, I was only kidding around when I said that reply, I forgot to add a laughing smiley in it. I don't even know if buick made an "LS" GS, much less if olds or any other car did:laugh: -Cody
Yep I realized you were kidding after I re-read your post again yesterday. I was just too lazy to delete my post. The responses are funny.
Boy, and I was worried I paid too much when I bought mine for $3500 last December. I think mine was in better shape than this 1 even before I did anything to it. And mine is a #'s matching. I guess it's true, anything is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for ito No: Dan:3gears:
Jim...Just out of curiousity, was this car at a masonry yard on Ronkonkoma Ave by the Expressway? I remeber seeing a blue 69 GS 350 there once. When I got ahold of the owner he said the GS350 was a parts car for his convertible. Said he worked for Ramp Ford as a salesman. Has to be the same guy. I bet you guys this one comes up for sale again after the bidder sees this monster. Jason
