This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

69 GS data tag info - special order??

I posted a pic of this data tag about a month ago when I was looking at buying this car. Now that I actually own it, I would really like to find out as much as I can about this car. It is a 69 GS400 hardtop with factory a/c and factory 4-speed.

How can production numbers be broken down?
    - 1 of 785 1969 GS400 hardtops with 4-speed
    - how many 4-speeds from Kansas?
    - how many 4-speeds with a/c?
    - how many 4-speeds with special order paint?
    - etc., etc.
    vin # 446379K......

    Of particular interest:

    1) Paint Code: 0-0 (zero, dash, zero) Since I have not been able to find this code listed on any paint charts, I am going to assume that this indicates that the car was ordered with a non-standard color. Was there a defined set of 'special order' colors? If so, what were they? The original color of this car appears to be some kind of light blue. I've posted a pic of this from under the headliner.

    2) option codes:
    - 07911 ???
    - AVO ???
    - 119 ???

I have no idea what options these codes represent. For reference, here is a list of what the car has:
    - pwr steering
    - pwr drum brakes with aluminum front drums
    - 4-speed Muncie M21
    - a/c
    - bucket seats
    - sport wheel
    - am/fm
    - in-dash clock
    - rally wheels
    - floor mats

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

It could have been ordered with a Riv only color. There was an Azure Blue in 1969 and it was a Riv only color.

    Here is the color chart:
