Like a lot of A- body car my right inner fender wheel is rust under the battery. I see in the big catalogs I can buy the bottom part and bond to my original. I can do this . However is there a repo. whole fender well for a 1969 Gran Sport. Where can I find it? Should I just fix the original it in great shape other than the bottom. I am going to try to do this car right the first time thanks for any help.
Nobody is currently making inner fenders for the 68-69 cars, and I don't believe there's a patch panel for those years either. Mike Garrison (Racebuicks) is developing repair panels for the core supports, and they should be available soon. I would just patch the inner fender as that's what most people are doing. I got lucky and both inner fenders are good, just the core support needs TLC.
OK ,I saw the bottom In O.P.G. cat. I will go with that and fiberglass in any thing I had to cut out extra. Thanks
