I have the trim but it is pitted bad. I even went as far as getting a 68 piece with BUICK on it I was going to remove the BUICk and send to get it rechromed. HELP
I'm right there with you... I have skylark trim with the "Buick" on it too. I think it is still a little different, even if you cut it off. I plan on cutting it off and having it rechromed.
I about cried when I saw what UPS did to the piece of GS trim my dad bought for me. I'll let you know.
UPS did me also I had bought a perfect part on ebay for $25. with BUICK on it that is and it was folded in half when I got it. Then there was some packing issues also. If I run across more then one nice trunk trim you are the first to know. My fishing buddy lives lives in Florida and I and sending him shopping. But let me know how it turns out.
GS trunk trim Mine is a cut off/rechrome job using Skylark trunk trim. I think it came out pretty well. I know I had a tail lite out that day
beautiful car! Chrome looks good. I would LOVE to see more pictures of it. I like the silver more than I thought I would. If I didn't have buckskin interior, I would seriously think about painting mine that color.
I appreciate that! If I win the Buick lottery and somehow find more than one, I'll keep you in mind too. You know someone has about 20 GS grilles and a bunch of these hoarded somewhere, just looking to turn a nice profit at the right time. :af: :blast:
Looks great ,sweet car. Thanks for the pic.. By seeing how great yours came out the chances of finding one has gone way up. But now I am more pissed that UPS trashed my "BUICK" one
