I found this in Minneapolis Craig's list. It is not mine, but could look at it if someone needed me to. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/car/504510745.html
Looks like it got a GS grille since I saw it last. It was in Mankato MN back in August, at a classic car place. Wanted 17K or some crazy figure. I love the term "Minor Flaws". Car was a Ebay for a couple of runs, I went a looked at it. If someone is interested, contact me and I'll fill you in. Rich
What it's worth and what I'd pay for it are usally two different thingsou: But lets say that you'd need to pay careful attention to the frame (behind the pass side door area) and I couldn't begin to find all of the bondo spots (lots of it). It's also been hit in the front. I spent 15 min with the car. The matching numbers would have to be verifyied. A good project (PROJECT, did I say that loud enough) and triple black. Could be a nice ride. Rich
I too looked at this car when it was in Mankato. Rich, can you believe it? You and I looked at the same car! I am not going to pile on. It was/is a rusty, northern car that has been exposed to some salt in its lifetime. Great color combo though and I imagine quite unique. Good luck!
Hey Rich, Is that what I think it is pictured in your avatar??? And was the photo taken at my brothers place?? Looks like a nice ride!!! Any photos of the interior??? :eek2: John
Yep, that's the day it moved:beer Photos of the interior, before or after all the old mouse bodys and snake skins were removed?ou: Your brother ever finish his? Chris, figures that we looked at the same car, 1/2 of what I've owned sits in your garage, LOL Rich
Yes, he finished his 64 Skylark, and took it to the National in Rochester. This summer he drove it a total of 2 times! WOW. I knew he would do that, spend tons of $$ to restore it and then let it sit in his shed. Dad is the same way, they have these collector cars and let them sit???? o No: I don't get it........Dad has a 64 Wildcat with 39K on it and hasn't driven it for at least 5 years, he also has a 63 Electra 225 convert that hasn't seen the road in about 8 years!!! BLOWS MY MIND! uzzled: Have a great day Rich! John
Did you ever post finished pictures? I know you started a thread about it at one time. You need to get one of those Buicks from your dad:Brow: He's got a nice collection of stuff:kodak: Rich
I believe I did post some finished photos, can't remember though, I will check into that. I have been trying to buy the Wildcat from my dad for many years, but he won't sell. I am sure he will pass it on to one of my brothers that dont give a hoot about old cars, and they will sell it to someone else, or want to sell it to me for 5X what it's worth! The sad part is,....the Wildcat's paint is starting to bubble and it needs ALOT of TLC to get it to the standards it should be at for a car with these low miles! John
