This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. I really appreciate all your help with the "0-0" paint code on the previous thread. I will most certainly post more info on this car if/when I pick it up. You guys seem to like the challenge.

But I am also trying to figure out what some of the other codes on this tag mean.
    Here is the tag again...
The codes I need help with are:
    07911
    AVO
    119

I'm sure these relate to various options, but anyone know specifically??
Thanks again in advance for all your help.

So nobody has any info on what these codes mean??

I have searched quite a bit and have not found a Buick data tag decoder anywhere.

Surely somebody somewhere has some info on what these option codes mean, right??
Or a website I can go to?

    Or???

    Thanks for the reply.

No, it doesn't have a power seat.

Here is what is has....that I'm aware of:

    - 400 4bbl
    - 4-speed (no console)
    - Bucket seats
    - sport steering wheel
    - am/fm
    - floor mats
    - a/c
    - rally wheels
    - in-dash clock
    - pwr steering
    - pwr drum brakes
    - original air induction hood w/correct air cleaner

I'm going to try and take another look at this car this weekend and see if I can scope it out a little more thoroghly.
    Thanks again for the reply.

No need to go there as Duane on this Board offers a decoding service and he is a Buick person.

    Kevin,
I have never tried to track/decode those "other" numbers. I have heard other numbers, like the ones pictured on your tag, referred to as "Batch" numbers. I usually see these on Fremont cars, but then again, I have only seen a few Kansas ID plates.

They could be numbers assigned to groups of options, but I have no way to decode them.
Sorry, but I can't help you more.
    Duane
