I have taken out the stock A/C system in my 69 Skylark and replaced it with a Vintage Air system. I have all the parts I removed and am willing to sell cheap or give them away. Let me know if you have a need for any of these parts, I am located in Tampa, FL. so if your out of state the shipping cost will be on you.
    Thanks Kevin

Does the Vintage Air system work better than the stock unit? Does it take up less space? More efficient?
If you have any before/after photos of your installation, could you please post them?
I'd love to see how it came out.

Darron, I have not finished the install to compare the performance but I will let you know once I have it out on the road. As for the space: Yes it eliminates almost everything in the engine bay and the interior section is comparable to the stock unit, the main difference is the location. The vintage air is in the center of the car so you have more legroom in the passenger side.
I have not taken any pictures but I will and will post them for you if I can figure out how, if you PM me with your email address I can send them directly to you (that I know how to do).
    Thanks
    Kevin

Sorry, that is the one of the original parts I used on this swap, I had it reconditioned to utilize the 134a refrigerant so I didn't have to deal with brackets and pulleys.
    Good luck on your search.

    Kevin,
How did that install go? I also have a 69 skylark that I'm considering doing the same thing to.
