Didn't this belong to a member of this board.......in Wisconsin I believe. I can't believe what they are asking!! For a 350 with a bench seat! I know it's a beautiful car, but isn't this a little too much?? $30 some grand!!! WOWZERS!~!! http://www.hemmings.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/dealers.detail/hmn_vehicle_id/229512
Looks like Bruce's old car, but the last I heard this one went south to Oklahoma. It really is a very nice and clean car. What's it worth, the market will set the price.
That car is one of the closest things to "perfect" I've seen up close. Bruce and Shirl brought it to the 1st annual BPG nats in '04, and it was really neat to see a car in such pristine condition. I think there was one little chip in the paint.
Unfortunately, the dealers have taken this cars price to just about twice the amount it sold for last year. I knew I should have bought it then. ou:
I know this car was sold to a guy in Oklahoma, and he quickly put it on ebay with an ungodly reserve. I know he was trying to sell it for a profit, I emailed the guy when he had it on ebay and he told me he bought it to resell for $$. I am sure this is the one Bruce had, as I was thinking of buying it from him when he was trying to sell. I had originally talked to the guy that originally had it for sale in Las Vegas because his girlfriend was sick and he wanted to sell so he could spend more time with her, then he sold it to a guy in Washington state, (his name eludes me) then he was trying to sell and sold it to Bruce, and now you know the rest of the story!! uzzled: I guess I should have bought it from the guy in Vegas!! ou: :blast: ou: You live and learn I guess!!! :error: :error:
hmmmm.......the last detail is about 10 minutes north of where I work...... maybe I'll make a run up there during lunch monday & have a gander D.
I've ridden in that car, it has balls! That car is what got me hooked forever on Buicks. :bglasses: :TU: :beer
Dana, You lookin for a new ride??????? Got a call today from the guy that bought my 70 GS, he took it out last week for a first run of the year, turned out to be the last run, a kid ran a stop sign and t-boned it :ball: Bye Bye car!!
No, not looking. Having to much fun with the 87 . I just got the GN a whole bunch of fun new parts installed and now she really needs stickie tires.......it scared me yesterday  Are you talking about the 10-10 car that was at the shop wen we were out there?......... heartbreaking to hear, hope everyone was OK. say hey to sparky boy for us :beer D. Mark, That was the one I tried to take home instead of the GN... I think I'm gonna be sick :ball: ... the was one sweet car, you really did a great job on it. Sorry to hear the guy got T-boned in it, hope he was ok. Beth
Jim Emmi is the guy who bought it in WA state and sold it to Bruce. Tony from Oklahoma, who is a board member, bought it from Bruce. I believe he is a dealer. Looks like he must have sold it to this place. Beautiful car though....
Jim Emmi is the guy who bought it in WA state and sold it to Bruce. THAT'S THE GUYS NAME!!! NOW I REMEMBER. THANKS!! I remember he wanted more than the guy in Vegas. The guy in Nevada wanted $12G's for it about 6 years ago! Jim was asking $16,500 or thereabouts. I shoulda bought it then!! :spank:
Jim had a lot more than $16,500 when he sold it, and it was even nicer than when the Vegas guy had it. Jim owns a professional detail business and he had that thing looking sweet!
