Yes shouldn’t be much longer. The mold is basically complete. I just have to spray some touchup, tooling gel coat on it and sand and buff it out. Shortly after that I’ll lay the first one up and see how it comes out. I think it’ll come out good, I learned a lot building the mold for the rear 71 bumper. The key will be coming up with a layup that makes it light yet strong enough.
When I get back home this weekend I’ll start on the next hood. I reached out to the next four people on the list to see if they were still interested. One guy has moved on from the Buick and I have not heard back from the other three. So I’m just gonna start this next hood and then when it’s almost complete I’ll go to the next people on the list. I realize a lot of people drop off because of such a long wait times.

Based on the update I did this weekend, I'll bet if I called everyone on this last, 50% of the people wouldn't be interested anymore. Mostly the folks that have been on here the longest and tired of waiting!
