Dude in Fort Lauderdale with heavy bucks and a just-finished GS restoration just e-mailed me this:

"I have a 10 by 20 storage unit full of 1970 to 1972 convertible Skylark and GS parts, including a complete convertible rolling chassis with a rebuilt 350 engine and trans. I have a 70 GS hood and air cleaner set up; I have grills, dash parts, convertible top frames."

I know absolutely nothing about the parts beyond that.

Evidently he really wants the stuff gone, all in one swell foop. I've been told he's sick of paying storage for stuff he never plans on using. I've got no place for them and also no use for them. Maybe someone local on the board would be interested. (Probably a dead heat between George N. and The Junkman)

    Let me know.

    BUICKRAT Got any treats?

What is he looking to get for the stuff. I may consider it if the price is right. Thanks, Steve Mario.

Additional Info about the rolling chassis -- from his email:

"The chassis is a convertible Skylark Custom.

There is no difference in the chassis, itself. From GS, the rear, trans and engine are different - - all else is the same.

Also, the motor is a 350 that was rebuilt by Jasper out of Georgia, and has less than 3,000 miles on it. Trans. is turbo 350, rebuilt with same mileage. Open rear, no posi. Does have 14 inch ralley wheels. Front disc brakes."

    WickedWay Got Torque?

I'm interested in the convertible (rolling chasis). He selling as one lot, or will he split items out?

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

Would be a huge help if you could say what he wants for the package or large items individually...such as the conv rolling chassis, conv tops, hood, etc.

    George, Steve,

Let me know if you pass or if you want to split the lot. Let's go take a look at the goods.

The guy left town Monday and won't be back until after Memorial Day. tried to get him to let me see the stuff Sunday but he said he was too busy packing and finishing up projects at work.

He would very much prefer to sell everything at once to someone local and get it gone as sson as possible. George and Donny have the inside track.

Hopefully I can check it out in two weekends.
