All, I am hoping to get back into a Skylark, as I just sold my motorcycle, and miss my old Buick. Not interested in anything fancy or high end such as a GS, Stage 1 car, or convertible unless the price is right. Just a run of the mill Skylark, as I dont have a ton of money to spend. I would like most of the body work to be done, mechanical I am willing to work on, but the car needs to be a driver. I am looking at spending $6500 give or take. Anyone have anything available. I am located in central Iowa and would prefer not to drive further then 5hrs from here, but if the right car comes up, I may still be interested. Let me know if someone has something.
Tom Miller has a beautiful 70 SkyLark that looks to be a great deal and a great car....someone here can direct you to his post....
I have a 72 Skylark convertible that is a driver. It needs work but runs and drives. Blue with white top and black interior. Original 350 engine and trans. I bought it from the original owner and he kept all of the paperwork from the time he bought it to the time he sold it to me. All of the receipts for everything done to the car also. I have had it for 3-4 years. $3,900.
Oldtime - It looks like you are located in Maryland. That is quite a bit further than I am willing to go for a car. Thank you for the offer.
