It has the deeper second lip like a WG. Def not a 71-72 wheel. Were there 2 diff 15 x 7 wheels in 1970? Weren't they all WG?
Yes Bruce - add the 15x7 rallye rims to the list of differences between early and late 1970 model year 'A' bodies. Being built starting in February 1970, this is why all the GSXs would (or I should state should) have a 'WG' instead of a '7.0' rim. Besides the code on the rim, I don't know the difference. Maybe someone else can chime in here.
Bill, did you find a WG wheel? I have an extra that might fit your needs. Actually, I have two, but I was looking for a G-60 Polyglas to put on one for a spare in the GSX. Anybody have an extra G-60?
Al, Thanks for the offer. I am trying to work something out with Bruce first. If things don't work out I will contcat you. Bill
Al, If Bill is set and you would be willing to sell your two, I'm in need to finish my X (I'm missing two). I'm in NJ as well. Going to E-town tomorrow? Please let me know. Thanks, Eric
Eric, Go ahead and work out the pair with Al. Don't want to hold you up since you've been looking also. I really could use the one(s) that Bruce has since I have an early car and I am more worried about the build time vs. the actual WG stamping. Bill
I have some rally rims, 15 inch with the letters WK stamped on the inside rim. Anyone know what year/ car do they belong to? John
